There are plenty of beautiful photographs of The Great Barn, but photographs only tell part of the story.They can’t quite capture the scale of the barn, the way the gardens open out as you walk through them, or the idyllic countryside setting that feels like your very own estate all weekend long.
So, earlier this summer, we invited our talented friend Matt from Yeti Film to come and visit and capture some video footage of the venue in its summer glory! No styled shoot, no suppliers, no guests – just The Great Barn as it really is on a beautiful day.
This short film gives you a chance to explore both the inside and outside of the venue, from the 15th century barn that sits proudly at the centre of our venue, to the gorgeous walled garden, cottages and grounds. If you’re beginning your venue search, or if you’ve been looking at photos and wondering what it all feels like in person, we hope this helps bring the place to life.
One of the things couples often tell us after a viewing is that The Great Barn feels different when they’re here. It’s hard to explain exactly why. Perhaps it’s the sense of space, the peaceful setting, or simply the character that comes with a building that’s stood here since the 15th century. Whatever it is, we’re very fond of it too!
