Brides can now have a dream wedding with world class catering, service, lighting and flowers without a nightmare price tag as mid-week weddings start from just £850.

"Mid week weddings are becoming increasingly popular as couples realise they can save money opting out of the more expensive weekend weddings and instead spend their savings on their honeymoon or towards their new home together " comments Emma Birkin.

"Our mid week weddings allows couples to have their ceremony in a breathtaking building, followed by photographs and a drinks reception in the walled garden if they would like one. They are then free to choose where they want their celebrations to continue. The joy of The Great Barn is that our brides and grooms can create their own unique day in this very special space, and now they can do so at a great value price."

The ancient Great Barn, which was restored six years ago by John and Emma Birkin, is the perfect location for couples looking for an unusual wedding venue set in idyllic surroundings. The secluded reception venue is ideal for small and large groups, and the styling throughout is sleek, contemporary and the epitome of good taste.

It is set within the grounds of the Birkin's family estate where guests can also make use of additional reception rooms, a beautifully decorated cottage which sleeps four, mature walled gardens and a spectacular courtyard.
