About Us
When we bought Place Barton as a family home in 1997 we had no intention of restoring the Barn. At that time it was derelict in parts and cowered under a rusting corrugated iron roof. After much encouragement from architects, archeologists and DEFRA´s historic buildings department we took the plunge and began the restoration in 2003. Finished in September 2004 the building still never ceases to take our breath away.
Both of us have many years of experience working in television and commercials. John continues to direct commercials (Daz, British Gas, Specsavers) but ensures he is on hand to light the Barn to your specifications, oversee all music and discreetly manage your event on the day. While Emma´s experience in producing big live television events (Comic Relief, The Big Breakfast) is put to good use, helping you to prepare for your big live event!
